The Arbor Inn Apartment is attached to the left side, facing the main house with separate side and front entrance. The home is an expanded colonial structure, located in a private rural setting on a quiet road, within walking distance to Wallis Sand Beach in Rye. The Inn is only three miles to downtown Portsmouth and a short drive to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, sandy beaches, state parks, harbor boat cruises, arcades, antiquing, theater, museums, golf courses, tennis courses, horseback riding and much more. The area is historic with beautiful 18th and 19th century architecture. The Inn is located on the New Hampshire seacoast, 50 miles North of Boston, MA and 50 miles South of Portland, Me.

Apartment Features

The apartment is tastefully decorated and has a kitchen/dining area with pull out sofa and lounge chair. This room has a cable color TV with VCR in the sitting area. This room is comfortable and inviting with ceiling fan and large windows that offer an abundance of natural light. The kitchen is equipped with a full size electric oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, full size coffee maker, mixer, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and silverware. There is a dining room table that seats four and a breakfast bar that seats two. There is a gas grill outside off the back stairs for your use. The view from this room is over looking the natural pine forest at the rear of the property.

The living room has a gas fireplace, color cable TV, sofa, loveseat, comfortable overstuffed chair, mahogany tables and antique desk. The walls in this room host several original oil paintings with indirect lighting. This room has French doors across the front that open onto a court yard in the front of the home, which looks out over the gardens. There is a small patio with table and two chairs for sitting outside.

The bathroom is located off the living room and has a tub with shower combination and marble flooring. This room is stocked with fresh towels.

The bedroom is upstairs and has wall to wall carpeting, large window and sky light, vaulted ceiling and has quality traditional antique mahogany four poster double bed, long dresser with mirror, highboy and chair with ottoman. This room has air-conditioning and ceiling fan and includes sheets, blankets and bedspread.
